The Ebrington Arms is a classic 16th-century country pub in the village of Kirkby on Bain, just a few miles from Woodhall Spa. Known locally for its warm welcome and relaxed, rural setting near the River Bain, the pub combines historic character with seriously good food and drink. The building dates back to around 1610, and inside you’ll still find traditional beams – some of which hold coins left by WWII airmen who drank here between missions, a unique memorial to the area’s aviation history.
The kitchen focuses on hearty, home-cooked British dishes, from slow-cooked meats and classic pies to Sunday roasts, with menus that change through the seasons and showcase local Lincolnshire produce. There’s a well-kept choice of real ales, beers, ciders, wines and spirits, and the pub caters well for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets.
Dog-friendly, family-friendly and with a beer garden for sunny days, The Ebrington Arms is popular with walkers, locals and visitors exploring the Wolds and nearby Woodhall Spa. Booking is strongly recommended, especially for weekend dining and Sunday lunch.
