Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum is a community-run history museum and local attraction in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, England. It’s dedicated to preserving and sharing the story of Woodhall Spa’s development as a 19th-century spa town and the life of the Wield family, who lived in the distinctive cottage from 1887 until the 1960s. The museum building itself—an original corrugated iron bungalow—is part of the exhibit and a rare surviving example of this type of Victorian prefabricated architecture.
The museum houses photographs, artefacts, toys, games, and local memorabilia, especially the extensive photographic collection of John Wield, offering visitors insight into everyday life in Woodhall Spa’s past. It also houses the local Tourist Information Centre, making it a great starting point for exploring the area.
